I.D.’s Executioners: Observatory: Design Observer.
Tragic story of the fall of I.D. Magazine.  Sad accounting of its final days.  I have to say, I used to love this magazine.  When I was a student at Pratt, even though I didn’t have much money, I always bit the bullet and bought a subscription, salivating when the Design Annual arrived in June.

Over the past six or seven years or so, I’d let my subscription lapse and found the last few Design Annuals a little tepid.  But, could be I just got jaded.

I am sorry to see the magazine go, I was always hopeful that one day I’d get back to renewing my subscription, savoringeach and  every issue and waiting with baited breath for the Annual to hit the mailbox.

Alas, it was not to be.
